Waterbury National Bank - Antique Car Still Bank

The Waterbury National Bank in Waterbury CT gave out as one of its promotions, a convertible car.

The First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Russell County, Phoenix CityAL was established in 1934 and copied the design for a savings promotion. The 1st Fed S & L Assoc. went through many acquisitions and finally, in 2019 became the SunTrust Bank in Alanta, Ga. Their car had a trap door at the bottom.

However, The Citizens National Bank chose the same version as Waterbury's for their promotional bank. Same bottom and all 3 have 1900 on their front license plate area.
